Nutrition counselling that supports your relationship with food, body, and self
I offer compassionate, weight-inclusive nutrition counselling for women navigating eating disorders, disordered eating, body image concerns, chronic dieting, gut health issues, and the many transitions that can occur throughout midlife and women’s health.
My approach is non-diet, HAES®-aligned, and grounded in the belief that health and wellbeing are about far more than weight. Together, we focus on helping you feel more nourished, connected, supported, and at ease within yourself - without rigid rules, shame, or restriction.
Sessions are collaborative, individualized, and tailored to your unique experiences, needs, and goals.
Areas I Support
Eating Disorders & Disordered Eating
I support individuals experiencing eating disorders, disordered eating, chronic dieting, and difficult relationships with food and body. This may include struggles with restriction, binge eating, emotional eating, food guilt, compulsive exercise, body checking, fear foods, loss of control around eating, or feeling consumed by thoughts about food and body image.
I work with clients across a range of presentations, including Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia Nervosa, Binge Eating Disorder, ARFID, OSFED, and disordered eating patterns that may not fit neatly into a diagnosis but still cause significant distress and impact quality of life.
Recovery looks different for everyone. Together, we focus on restoring nourishment, rebuilding body trust, reducing shame and rigidity around food, and helping you move toward a more peaceful and sustainable relationship with eating, body, and self.
Where appropriate, I work collaboratively alongside psychologists, GPs, psychiatrists, and other health professionals to support multidisciplinary, best-practice care.
Body Image & Chronic Dieting
If you’ve spent years dieting, feeling disconnected from your body, or constantly thinking about food, weight, or appearance, you are not alone. Many people come to feel as though there is something wrong with their body - that it needs to be fixed, controlled, or changed in order to be worthy or accepted.
Body image is about far more than appearance alone. Healing body image becomes relational work - rebuilding trust, compassion, safety, and connection with yourself and your body.
Together, we work toward reducing food guilt and rigidity, challenging unhelpful beliefs around bodies and health, and creating greater flexibility, freedom, and ease with food and within yourself.
Women’s Health & Midlife Support
Women’s relationships with food and body can shift throughout different life stages and experiences. I support women navigating challenges related to hormonal changes, perimenopause and menopause, stress, caregiving, identity changes, ageing, and the emotional complexities that can arise throughout midlife.
My approach considers both the physical and emotional aspects of nourishment and wellbeing.
Gut Health & Digestive Concerns
I provide gentle, individualized support for digestive concerns, including gut–brain disorders such as IBS. Together, we focus on improving symptoms, supporting adequate nourishment, and reducing food-related stress and fear, while maintaining a balanced and flexible relationship with food wherever possible.
Chronic Health Conditions
I provide nutrition support for a range of chronic health conditions, including diabetes, cardiovascular disease, high cholesterol, fatty liver disease, and metabolic health concerns.
My approach is weight-inclusive and non-diet, focusing on practical, sustainable changes that support both health and wellbeing while respecting your individual needs, preferences, and quality of life.
What To Expect
Appointments are held in person in Melbourne or Australia-wide via telehealth, allowing you to access support from the comfort and privacy of your own space.
Initial consultations are 75 minutes and review consultations are typically 60 minutes long. Some people benefit from more regular support at first, such as weekly or fortnightly sessions, while others may prefer monthly or less frequent follow-up appointments as they progress.
Together, we’ll decide on a pace that feels supportive, sustainable, and suited to your individual needs. Sessions are collaborative and tailored to you. Depending on your needs, sessions may include:
-
nutrition support and education
-
rebuilding trust with food and body cues
-
establishing regular and adequate nourishment
-
navigating body image challenges
-
practical meal support
-
emotional and psychological aspects of eating
-
developing sustainable self-care practices
A Gentle, Collaborative Approach
I understand that reaching out for support can feel vulnerable, especially if you’ve spent years struggling with food, body image, or conflicting health messages. My role is not to judge, control, or prescribe rigid rules, but to support you with compassion, curiosity, and evidence-informed care.
You do not need to have everything figured out before beginning.
