Nourishment is about more than what you eat.

It's about how you care for yourself, connect with your body,

and cultivate a life that feels meaningful, joyful and well lived.

About me

Hi, I'm Kelly, a Melbourne-based Accredited Practising Dietitian and Credentialled Eating Disorder Clinician, and the founder of She Nourished.

I believe every woman deserves to experience food as nourishment rather than something to fear or control. My work brings together eating disorder care and women's health, with a focus on helping you cultivate a more peaceful, trusting relationship with food, your body and yourself.

I've worked in nutrition and dietetics for more than 20 years, spending the majority of my career in private practice.

I have a particular interest in supporting women through midlife and perimenopause, where changing hormones can influence appetite, eating patterns, body image and the way we experience our bodies. I also support women living with PCOS, endometriosis, chronic pelvic pain and gut-related concerns, particularly where these intersect with nourishment, body image and overall wellbeing.

My approach

My approach is grounded in evidence-based nutrition care and guided by compassion, curiosity, and respect.

I practise in a way that is client-centred, trauma-informed, and aligned with Health at Every Size® (HAES®) principles. This means supporting you to engage in health-enhancing behaviours without a focus on weight (except where medically indicated for safety).

Together, we'll explore ways of eating that feel supportive, sustainable and aligned with your values, while gently rebuilding trust in your body.

I value your lived experience, body autonomy, and inner wisdom, and create a space where you feel heard, respected, and supported.

I engage in ongoing professional development and clinical supervision, and keep my practice current with emerging research in nutrition, eating disorders, and women’s health.

My philosophy

I believe nourishment extends well beyond food. While food nourishes us physically, nourishment also comes through connection, creativity, movement, rest, nature, spirituality, purpose and the relationships that matter most.

Through She Nourished, my intention is to support women to feel more nourished, supported, and at ease in their relationship with food, their body, and themselves.

My favourite things

I'm a wife and mum to four children. I cherish time with my family and friends, and my faith is a grounding and important part of my life. When I'm not working or on mum duties, you'll usually find me dancing, journalling, exploring the outdoors, planning my next adventure, or soaking up slow, meaningful moments with the people I love.

I’m also a cat mum and a chocolate lover (of the Whittaker’s variety). And I never tire of seeing purple sunsets.

Thank you for taking the time to read about my work.
