About me

My name is Kelly Conte, and I’m a Melbourne-based Accredited Practising Dietitian and Credentialled Eating Disorder Clinician.

I support women in midlife navigating changes in their body, their eating, and their relationship with food -particularly during perimenopause.

My work sits at the intersection of eating disorders, disordered eating, and women’s health, with a focus on body image, nourishment, and supporting women through this often complex stage of life.

I also have experience supporting women with conditions such as PCOS, endometriosis, chronic pelvic pain, and gut-related concerns, where these intersect with food and eating.

My approach

My approach is grounded in evidence-based nutrition care and therapy, and guided by compassion, curiosity, and respect.

I practise in a way that is client-centred, trauma-informed, and aligned with Health at Every Size® principles. This means supporting you to engage in health-enhancing behaviours without a focus on weight (except where medically indicated for safety).

I work alongside you to explore ways of eating that feel supportive, sustainable, and attuned to your body—especially during times when things may feel unfamiliar or more difficult than they used to.

I deeply value each client’s lived experience, autonomy, and inner wisdom.

I am committed to ongoing professional development and clinical supervision, and to keeping my practice current with emerging research in nutrition, eating disorders, and women’s health.

I’m always learning—and often humbled—by the opportunity to grow, both as a clinician and as a person.

My philosophy

Nourishment goes well beyond food.

It includes emotional and spiritual nourishment, the way we care for ourselves, connect with others, move our bodies, rest, and find meaning in our lives.

Through She, Nourished, my intention is to support women to feel more nourished, supported, and at ease in their bodies—especially during times of change.

My favourite things

Outside of work, I’m a wife and a mum to four big kids.

I love dancing, meditation, outdoor adventures with my tribe, and slow moments with friends. Leave me alone with paper, pens and paints, and you’ll find me painting or journalling (I.love.journalling!).

I’m also a cat mum, a chocolate lover (of the Whittaker variety), and an appreciator of purple sunsets.

Thank you for taking the time to read about my work.
